Enabling new software

High level of professional skills of our company’s specialists, in-depth knowledge of the subject area and vast experience in implementing allow us to conduct detailed comprehensive analysis of our customer’s business processes. This helps to systematize, optimize, and possibly restructure them and is essential in order to successfully enable new software.

Stages of enabling software produced by our company:

  • comprehensive analysis of the customer’s paperwork, used technologies,  and business processes;
  • analyzing the technologies of interaction of the software existing at the moment of enabling new software with other automated systems;
  • preparing instructions on how to adjust, in case of necessity, the hardware and system settings installed in accordance with the requirements of the new software which is to be enabled;
  • correlating the system functioning with the customer’s business processes, and adjusting a range of the customer’s technologies to the new software to be enabled;
  • if necessary, negotiating the terms of guaranteeing software reliability and effective functioning of the software which is being enabled ;
  • determining future settings of the software to be enabled taking into account peculiarities of the customer’s technologies;
  • installing the system, and, if necessary, installing the Oracle DBMS (Database Management System) as well;
  • providing initial settings;
  • converting data from the automated systems currently used by the customer (if any automated systems are used);
  • training the IT staff, and system users (on the basis of the converted database and provided initial settings);
  • preparing and holding “testing days”. When a “testing day” is held, users carry out their operations in full range using the new software. In the process, the accuracy of converting data and initial settings are tested. Besides, it is an opportunity to check how well the users are prepared for working with the new software. It is on the basis of the results of the “testing day” that the final decision is made about switching to the new software and forwarding it to the experimental-industrial operation.
  • forwarding the system to the experimental-industrial operation;
  • providing technical support on the customer’s side during a stipulated term
As a result, uninterrupted functioning of the enterprise is guaranteed. Data loss is impossible, and it is not necessary to transfer data from the old system to the new one by hand since it is done automatically.
