Interactive Front-Office Banking System (iFOBS)

 

The iFOBS has been developed for banks striving for ensuring the most efficient transmission channels in servicing their clients as well as for banks enhancing services constantly by means of creating more and more convenient conditions of receiving information and purchasing bank products by their clients.
Therefore at developing the iFOBS CS Company first of all defined the following goals:

  • creating a direct transmission channel between a bank and its clients;
  • providing a client with the direct access to the data about his accounts and contracts and to the history of interaction with a bank;
  • creating a common light entry point for a client that makes it possible for him not to visit a bank outlet personally and not to install extra software on his PC.

Now it can be definitely stated that all set aims have been archived as the iFOBS is operated in more than 40 banks of Ukraine for the moment.
The iFOBS is a system of the common electronic documents circulation between a bank and a client. The system provides every client of the bank with the possibility of Internet access to bank services and products. The iFOBS is developed on the basis of the SOA (service oriented architecture) that makes it possible to adapt the business logic of the system functioning to market demands, being changed, quickly and easy, if necessary.

The system functionality is divided into several trends:

iFOBS.Corporate - the automation of all the operations and services used by bank corporate clients (juridical persons). Operating corporate accounts and cards as well as salary projects has been implemented and corporate budgeting subsystem and a lot of others have been developed.
iFOBS.Private - the automation of all the operations and services used by clients who are individual persons. Operating accounts and cards, products, documents has been implemented and a light version of the workstation has been created.
iFOBS.VIPClub - the automation of all the operations and services oriented towards VIP-clients servicing. An extended set of services has been implemented and the client requirements delivery directly to his personal manager has been provided. A special design of the interface has been developed for this trend as well.

There have been developed several versions of system user workstation such as a light web-client for operating online, a win32-client for operating in a local computer without necessity of a constant connection to the Internet and PDA-client for operating by means of mobile devices. Also there have been implemented various extra services such as SMS, E-mail, IVR (interactive voice response service) in the system.
A more detailed description of functions for all the system modules is cited hereinafter, but the list of system functions is constantly being extended, as CS Company is always meeting half-way its customers wishes.

  • The iFOBS is integrated with the ABS B2, so there is no need in any extra costs for integrating.
  • The system is ready for integrating with any external software including card systems and ABS deployed by another developer.
  • There is no need of installing any special software on a user PC in general case.
  • There is an easy and quick way of registering a new user in the iFOBS.

  • Valid operations for loans and deposits (repayment of a loan, transfer of a deposit amount to a current account, replenishment of a deposit, etc.).

  • Authorizing payment documents of subdivisions, branches and affiliated undertakings by a representative of the main organization.
  • Payments in the national currency.
  • Payments in a foreign currency.
  • Currency purchasing, selling and conversing.
  • Regular payments.
  • Standard payments (according to templates).
  • General financial data (currency rates, rates for loans and deposits, tariffs for services, etc.).
  • Supplemental data maintenance (directories of correspondents, client's payment purposes, etc.).
  • Adjusting business rules for system usage.
  • Exchanging messages and files with the bank.

There have been implemented a lot of extra modules for the iFOBS. A definite set of functionality has been automated by each of them and the bank can decide which of them are necessary at the moment and which are to be deployed later.
