The subsystem of accounting for securities within the bank's portfolio gives you the ability to automate operations to account for investment securities and debt securities within the bank's portfolio:

  • Recording information about investment securities and debt securities;
  • Recording information about securities purchase/sale to the bank's portfolio by a dealer;
  • Recording information about payment instructions of securities transactions;
  • Processing payments under securities purchase/sale transactions;
  • Processing a securities transfer, recording securities in Class 9 accounts;
  • Recording discount, premium, interest;
  • Forward purchase/sale revaluation;
  • EIR calculation and amortization using EIR;
  • Journaling changes in transaction parameters;
  • A day-to-day analysis of the securities portfolio structure; and
  • Function division between Securities Office (entry into a transaction, the input of the transaction into ABS B2) and Back Office (the input of payment instructions, making payments under the transaction).
