1.1. Bank Counterparties Considered as a bank's counterparty is:-
The system distinguishes such types of counterparties as follows:-
The system enables you to create user types of counterparties. 1.1.1. Brief Description of Functionality a) The system assigns a unique number (code) to each counterparty of the bank; b) For each counterparty type, the set of obligatory parameters is filled in: the name, identification code, information about registration with the state tax authority and public authorities, information about directors, contact information; c) The system enables you to create, for each counterparty type, additional user parameters if preinstalled parameters are insufficient; d) The system enables you to verify the compliance of counterparty's parameters with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine using special reports and filters; e) In completing the counterparty's parameters, the system performs the check of the identification code for multiplicity of the register type (EDRPOU - 8 digits, the key is verified; TIN - 10 digits, the date of birth is verified); f) In adding and editing particulars of a counterparty and/or opening an account, the system check these particulars for consistency (check for parameter combination admissibility) and their compliance with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine; g) The system gives you the abilities of fast-access retrieval of, sorting, filtering lists of counterparties at all parameters; h) The system enables you to store files and graphics (specimen signature, seal, photos) related to a counterparty's card; i) All revisions made in counterparties' card are recorded in a special log; j) The system gives you the abilities to create a printed form of the customer register and other reports for counterparties in accordance with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine. 1.2. Keeping Bank's Business Partner Base Business partner (BP) means legal entities, individuals as well as a body (group) thereof connected with the bank's business including without limitation those which are not its counterparties. 2 Maintenance of Management Accounts a) When creating an account, the user may determine its structure: whether or not a counterparty number, a counterparty type, a currency code, a serial number of an account opened for this counterparty, a code of a territorially separate balance sheet-free outlet should be included in the account number; b) The system generate automatically the account number in accordance with parameters set by the user and check the account key (check bit); c) The capability to open automatically related accounts in one account opening master to account for contracts for settlement and cash services, rental and license fees and commissions; an automatic transaction (contract) opening and charging interest on accounts; d) The capability to open automatically requisite accounts from transactions (loans, deposits and other products). Accounts may be opened whenever required (the rules of producing account numbers are set when tuning the transactions); e) The capability to used "consolidated" management accounts (by banking product). The system enables you to analyze data and produce reports based on information from transactions; f) Keeping the log of principal parameter input and revision, of management account deletion; g) Keeping the list of additional parameters of management accounts (for those accounts which are not related to transactions) required for reports to the National Bank of Ukraine or for the bank's internal reports; h) Keeping actual and projected balances and footings of management accounts; i) Checking the limits of:
j) Producing a report entitled "Notification of Account Opening/Closing "; k) Producing an opened/closed accounts log; a balance list and a balance & footing list; a balance sheet (Form 1КБ); a footing balance sheet of the bank, statements of accounts by currency, operator, bank division (department), counterparty, balance sheet account, territorially separate balance sheet-free outlet as at a date and for a period; l) Producing a report on account balances for a period (in Ukrainian hryvnias and a foreign currency), a report on daily average account balances, a report on cash flow through an account for a period, a report on cash flow through a balance sheet account for a period. 2.1. Producing and Sending Files of State Tax Administration Register a) Keeping separately a customer account register and a correspondent account register; b) Producing @F files of the customer account register when closing, opening not on customer's initiative, closing opening not on customer's initiative a customer account; c) Producing @K files of the correspondent account register when opening or closing an own correspondent account with another bank; d) Receiving @IF and @IK acknowledge characters (as well as @OF and @OK acknowledge character) in answer to @F and @K files produced of the customer and correspondent account registers; e) Producing automatically forms (No. П1, No. П2, No. П3, No. П4, No. П5 in accordance with Order of the State Tax Administration No. 301 of July 01, 2002) f) Daily archiving of register data. 3 Document handling, Financial Document Flow a) Adding, revising, deleting documents in the domestic currency and a foreign currency; b) Document handling by users according to the rights to accounts and the rights to operations; c) Recording automatically the value date of the receiver of a payment document; d) Signing documents electronically at the stages of addition and edition, a forced signature application; e) Inputting ILB (Information Line Block); f) Cash document input with indicating amounts by cash symbol (in so doing, symbol indication by operation type (receipts/expenditures) according to a cash document type is checked) and inputting special parameters (the name, the passport number, etc.); g) Inputting intracash documents; h) Inputting budgetary documents; i) Inputting adjusting postings; j) Keeping the document input, edition, deletion log; k) Tuning and employing document templates for a special processing upon the input whereof (the templates may contain an account or an account А and/or Б mask or an account А and/or Б group, bank А and/or Б MFO, the minimum and maximum amount of the document) a message is sent to some users and, depending on template settings, one of the following operations may performed automatically on a document:
l) Printing payment documents in a textual and graphic form (MS Word, Report Builder), printing document registers, consolidated memorial orders by document; m) For foreign exchange documents, inputting the parameters required to produce file #39 and the parameters used to produce statistical reports of Form 1ПБ; n) For FX cash documents, inputting the parameters used to produce statistical reports (file #73). 4 Operations Subsystem The subsystem gives you the ability to tune the rules of an automatic production of multiple entries (documents) with parameters predetermined partially or wholly in advance:-

Note: Data from the application used in an exchange office are loaded into ABS 2B with the aids of files of a certain structure (*.op).
5 Interface with Electronic Funds Transfer System (EFTS) This subsystem is designed to effect the exchange (producing, receiving, recording, tracking state) of the files of documents, vouchers, receipts, statements and other process files between ABS B2 and a regional clearing house of the National Bank of Ukraine within the Electronic Funds Transfer System of the National Bank of Ukraine in accordance with "The Description of the Interface between a Bank Automation System (BAS) and the Electronic Funds Transfer System of the National Bank of Ukraine (EFTS) (as amended on 12-05-2003). a) Operation using 0, 1, 4 and 6 models of maintaining a CCA (consolidated correspondent account) in EFTS (w/o IPS); b) Operation using 2, 3 models of maintaining a CCA (consolidated correspondent account) in EFTS provided that Enigma IPS (Intrabank Payment System) (developed by CS Ltd) is present; c) Processing automatically exchange file in the EFTS monitor; d) Tracking the state of the correspondent account of the Head Office and branches (with the Head Office for the models with the consolidated correspondent account in EFTS); e) Processing inquiries and answers to specify the details of payments passed to the uncleared purpose amount accounts. 6 Interface with Express Money Order System (EMOS) For the banks which are participants in EMOS, the subsystem ensures the receipt and sending of payment documents through EMOS in on-line mode, as well as processing $V.S and $V.G/$V.F files. 7 Interface with Data Retrieval System (DRS) The subsystem is engineered to prepare, transmit and receive inquiry-answer type messages in the form of electronic documents between a commercial bank and DRS of the National Bank of Ukraine. Using this subsystem, you may receive information about the passage of bank's payments through EFTS of the National Bank of Ukraine whose date of entry into EFTS is later that 01.01.1998 (the date of EFTS switch to new data structures). 8 Interface with SD (Securities Depositary) of the National Bank of Ukraine The subsystem is designed to automate making payments for governmental securities in accordance with the "supply against payment" principle. Making payments means the performance of the following operations:
9 Interface with the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund The subsystem ensures the production of reports to the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund of both a separate bank (branch) and consolidated reports of a legal entity (the Head Office and branches) based on the data of individual deposit transactions. 10 Interface with Financial Monitoring The subsystem is engineered to automate the conduct by the bank of financial monitoring to prevent money laundering:- a) Keeping the electronic register of financial transactions subject to financial monitoring; b) Keeping the questionnaires of the bank's customers (legal entities, individuals, business entities, correspondent financial institutions) in an electronic format; c) Recording a financial transaction subject to monitoring operation (based on the existing documents, a closed account with a counterparty). The data about the financial transaction may also be inputted without the existence of documents, accounts, counterparties of the bank; d) Recording information about the participants of a financial transaction subject to financial monitoring; e) Printing the register of transactions subject to financial monitoring based on the data of the electronic register; f) Printing the questionnaires of customers based on the data of electronic questionnaires; g) Producing information exchange files of financial monitoring, receiving acknowledge characters in answer to the financial monitoring files (with the application of the electronic digital signature of the bank's compliance officer) through the FM monitor; h) Keeping the "Black List" of private persons and organizations which sponsor terrorist movements and organizations or concerned with their sponsorship. This list may also be used to store information about persons and organizations which are "undesired" for the bank for the purpose of preventing fraud;
i) A fuzzy search (according to a percent of matches specified) in the "Black List" of entries about customers:-
j) Sampling automatically financial transactions (according to the existing documents) subject to financial monitoring in closing a trading day as well as with the aids of the automatic sampling master. The sampling rules are tuned within the system. |
