CS Ltd, a leader in banking, financial and insurance automation systems development, winds up 2011

So, what have we done in the last year?

Actually a lot. We created new products and advanced facilities of old ones. We won tenders and implemented our software in leading Ukrainian banks. We trained others and studied ourselves by sharing experience at workshops and conferences. We worked to improve our business and we succeeded. Once again we confirmed our Oracle Platinum Partner status, one of the highest Oracle partnership statuses, and also we won in the Industry leader nomination among software developers according to the National business-rating. Also, in 2011 our company received the IBM award for the best solution in banking sector.

Welcome to CS Family

The financial company "OTP Credit", the Prominvestbank, the Bank Sich, the InterCreditBank, the DVBank, the Market technologies bank became our clients in 2011.

The credit module ABS B2 and CB::Connector, the automation system for working with the credit bureau, were implemented in "OTP Credit".

We implemented some turnkey projects in new banks: Sich Bank and InterCreditBank. These projects included software implementation, hardware delivery, and also system start up and adjustment.

The ABS B2 is used by InterCreditBank. The ABS B2, the iFOBS and the CS::BI analytical system are used by Sich Bank.

DVBank, which is also a new player on the Ukrainian banking market, uses iFOBS.

In 2011 we finished the implementation of the ABS B2 in Market Technologies Bank registered in 2010.

The ABS B2 module "Securities" was implemented in Prominvestbank.

CS Academy

In 2011 we paid much attention to training programs. We adapted and structured a training course for ABS B2 administrators and users, and held a number of webinars related to improvements included into new B2 releases.

Result of the 2011: we trained representatives of more than 20 Ukrainian banks and 83 persons received course graduation certificates.

Presentation, workshops, conferences

We had had many reasons for meetings and communication with our clients in 2011.

In March and April we held workshops on the ABS B2 migration to the Oracle 11g, also we held the presentation of the JetB2 solution in March, the Trust system – in April and the iB2 system in June.

In May we gathered the CS clients at the seminar "Efficient bank management tools" that was dedicated to the ISMA system and the CS::BI analytical system.

The CS Partnership conference with the participation of top managers and IT-directors of 10 leading banks was held in July 2011 at the IBM Innovation center in Barcelona.

In autumn our company held traditional annual Banking Automation Conference. It was the ninth conference in succession. More than 60 representatives of our national banks and CS partners (Oracle, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Megatrade) took part in this event. This year it was held in Tbilisi.

The CS representatives also took part in different industrial events: the ХI International conference "Payments and cards - 2011", the annual Yalta conference "Banking systems and networks", in conference "Experience and perspectives of using IT in banking sector", organized by the BIT club.

What other projects were finished in 2011?

One of the most significant projects of the past year was a project realized in OTP Bank. The bank's administration decided to use our ABS B2 as a basic system for NBU statutory reporting building. As a result, the ABS B2 was integrated with other ABS that were used in the bank(MIDAS, SQL). Also, the CS specialists provided the B2 system's migration to the Oracle Exadata.

Many different projects were finished in tandem with Sberbank of Russia, our another client. Our product - iFOBS Private enabled Sberbank of Russia to create a new internet-banking service – "Sberbank OnL@ne". Specially for Sberbank of Russia the CS specialists developed an innovative application – the iFOBS.OpenGate. This application connected bank accounting systems and the MTS-Ukraine – mobile communication operator to which Sberbank of Russia rendered services in payment processing service and transaction providing between operator and callers. Also, our company implemented the SWIFT messages exchange ability by means of SWIFT-Alliance in online mode – without files generating: algorithm that reduces operational risks and guarantees the maximum level of information security.

In Raiffeisen Bank Aval our specialists implemented the Straight Through Processing (STP) – an intelligent router.

Now payment documents are processed automatically. It takes minimum of time and rules out the possibility of making mistakes by operator.

One more interesting development of the CS company was implemented in AktaBank this summer. It is all about the iFOBS.DigiPass module designed for one-time password generation. The iFOBS.AGSES module is a more advanced solution. It works with biometrical identity AGSES-card (so called "internet-passport"), that reads the blinking code from the PC monitor and identifies the owner by his fingerprint.

The second automation stage was finished in IC «Allianz ROSNO Life». It included the migration of insurance agreements from the OPUS system into the LISA - life insurance system, the implementation of the MLM::eCSpert and the implementation of the first queue of the FOLIS system.

Obviously it is not a full list of projects that we managed to realize in 2011.

The CS specialists finished 112 projects starting from small improvements to new systems development in 2011.
