CS specialists completed the adaptation of the SWIFT interface for PJSC "ING Bank Ukraine". The purpose of SWIFT subsystem is creation, storage and processing of messages ion the format of the international system of electronic payments SWIFT.
ING is a major financial group widely represented worldwide. Regardless what country the bank works in, it uses uniform corporate standard of automating business processes. Therefore, the project of launching SWIFT in the bank had a number of special features, which were in unique settings of the bank and the necessity to integrate the SWIFT subsystem to the data communication systems used by the bank and the head office. As to work with SWIFT the bank uses IRM system, CS specialists significantly changed the algorithms of processing incoming messages. It was also necessary to use the existing in ING Ukraine Client-Bank system and integrate it into ABS B2 with minimum visible for the client alterations (in formatting references, purposes of payment documents etc.). Besides, the bank sought to save existing in ATLAS automated system the workflow of receiving and processing payment orders in foreign currency, enabling to minimize the time, spent by employees of all departments on processing each payment order. At the same time we automated creation of day documents by incoming payment orders (earlier these documents were drawn up manually) and also added an opportunity to use the set in ING Ukraine mechanism of charging commissions under customers' payment orders, immediately within the process of the payment order. Thus, CS specialists in ING Ukraine introduced the SWIFT subsystem of ABS B2, enabling to work in accordance with the international standards of bank operations in the corporate automated system ATLAS with a number of additions, making the work friendlier and easier. A part of the completed project works on the SWIFT subsystem is useful for the development of this subsystem on the whole and will be in demand by other banks.
